Bills WR Stevie Johnson was one of the many players laying it on the line in the team’s first practice of training camp Sunday night. While it was the players whose play made the session an intense one from the outset, Johnson credited the coaching staff for creating that kind of environment.
“That’s the intensity that the coaches bring out here,” Johnson said. “They brought that here. They challenged us and we’ve been just challenging to keep the DBs (running) and it was fun. You’ve got to make it fun and compete with each other we’re out there talking trash and get things going. It’s pretty much us against the world and that’s how we feel right now. So we go out here and compete with each other and take on the world when the season starts.”
Johnson made a few nice grabs that drew oohs from the crowd Sunday night.
