Fred Jackson is listed at 216 pounds on the roster, but the Bills veteran running back added some lean muscle mass to his frame this offseason and weighs even more than that right now.
“I’m a little heavier than that. I’m at 225 right now. I’m up about seven or eight pounds right now,” said Jackson. “That’s just staying up here working out in the offseason with those guys getting me ready. I’ll probably lose two or three of that just in training camp, but that was the plan in terms of coming in and doing it.”
As far as how the weight feels on his frame in terms of carrying it, Jackson doesn’t feel any different in terms of elusiveness.
“I feel great. I haven’t felt this well in a long time,” he said. “I stayed up here all offseason and worked out with our training staff up here. I put on some good weight, got stronger and am looking forward to getting out here.”
