The Monday Quarterback Club got up close and personal with Buffalo Bills Training Camp on Monday night when they dined with notable guest speakers just before watching the first scrimmage of 2013.
Coach Doug Marrone dished on training camp and his plans for the upcoming season, and buffalobills.com Lead Journalist Chris Brown and WGR’s Paul Hamilton chatted with the club during their pre-practice dinner.
“It was great to hear Coach Marrone really candid about the team,” said Monday Quarterback Club member Jeff Bodzinski. “It was a lot of fun. I’ve been a fan for a long time and he was one of the first coaches that really connected with the group here. He spoke our language, and it was great to hear it.”
The experience was just one of the opportunities that comes with membership to the Club. Along with five luncheons as well as a Draft party and last night’s training camp event, members get special Bills items and a number of other bonuses.
“I’ve been a part of the Monday Quarterback Club for a number of years. We have a lot of great events all year round,” said Bodzinski. “There’s a lot of camaraderie that goes on.”
“I’m new to the quarterback club. It was my first time out here,” said Brennan Kelly. “Coach was very good to listen to and it seems like he’s ready for a fun year.”
