Mario Williams was inactive for Friday’s game, but it was due to any injury or setback.
Head coach Doug Marrone, much like he did with Kiko Alonso chose to rest the premier pass rusher Friday.
“Yeah we rested him and we rested Kiko (Alonso),” said Marrone. “We’re trying to make sure that we’re being smart, getting them ready. I’m looking forward to a lot of players coming back next week; we’ll see how that goes in practice.”
Marrone said earlier this week that Stevie Johnson has a chance to play against Washington next Saturday, but it’s not a lock yet.
