The Bills made a lot of player moves over the past two days and they’re nowhere near from done. Here’s why.
Buffalo with all of their player releases are actually under the 53-man roster limit. The team currently has just 51 players. Head coach Doug Marrone wasn’t shy in stating that they intended to scour the waiver wire as well as explore other avenues to acquire players.
Buffalo figures to add a quarterback where it’s currently just EJ Manuel and Jeff Tuel on the active roster. At the much-needed cornerback position where they entered the day with just four healthy CBs (five total counting injured Gilmore), they added CB Brandon Burton, claimed off of waivers this afternoon. Buffalo also has just three inside linebackers on the current roster. They would presumably want to add a fourth.
