What a week for former Bills LB Chris White.
One week ago, he was traded from the Bills to the Detroit Lions, in exchange for QB Thad Lewis. On Thursday night, he played in Ralph Wilson Stadium against the Bills in the preseason finale.
White was then released by the Lions over the weekend (as was QB Thad Lewis, who was signed to the Bills practice squad today.)
Now comes a report that White has been claimed off waivers by the New England Patriots. That means the former Bills LB may play his second consecutive game against the Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
White was Buffalo’s 6th round pick in 2011 out of Mississippi State. He played in 22-games over two years with the Bills and finished third on the team last year with 9 special teams tackles.
