Alex Carrington and Erik Pears were both held out of practice Monday. Head coach Doug Marrone explained why both missed Monday’s session with their teammates.
Marrone said both players were dealing with sore ankles and were held out today. Part of the benefit of holding them out was it would give them both two days to heal up instead of just one.
“(Their) ankles were sore today and it’s good because tomorrow we’re off so we just wanted to give (them) two days off,” said Marrone. “It shouldn’t be a problem.”
Stephon Gilmore and Doug Legursky were the only other players that did not practice.
