Bills defensive tackles Kyle Williams and Marcell Dareus are not only working well off each other, they’re also demanding so much attention up front that they’re keeping opposing offensive linemen from reaching the second level. That’s allowing Kiko Alonso to flow freely to the ball without any road blocks.
“They’ve kept me really clean. I think that’s why I was able to make the plays that I’ve made because of them,” Alonso told Buffalobills.com. “They’re doing a great job.”
Alonso admits with Williams or Dareus demanding double team attention he can get to the football faster.
“It makes it a lot easier when you can make a free run and make a tackle,” he said. “It makes it a lot easier. They’re doing a great job keeping the O-linemen off me and making plays on the quarterback and sacking the quarterback. They’re two great athletes.”
