After big games for both Stevie Johnson and Mario Williams last week, both figure to draw extra attention from the Jets defense and offense respectively. Head coach Doug Marrone said it’s on everyone else to keep them a viable part of their game plan.
“As coaches we’re responsible for putting our players in the best position where they can make plays so we have to do a good job of that,” Marrone told Buffalobills.com. “One of the reasons they were able to make plays last week is because the guys around them were doing something right too. I think that continues to happen. If the players around them have the ability to make a play they need to make a play and we feel confident that they will.”
Johnson had over 100 yards receiving including the game winning touchdown with two seconds remaining. Williams set a team record with 4.5 sacks.
