Stevie Johnson participated in practice on a limited basis Thursday as he works his way through a troublesome hamstring injury.
“It’s day to day,” Johnson told Buffalobills.com. “Just managing it and working with (head athletic trainer) Bud (Carpenter) and ‘G’ (athletic trainer Greg McMillen).”
Johnson is getting as much treatment as possible hoping it will be enough to get him on the field on Sunday.
“It was good that I was out there,” said Johnson following Thursday’s practice. “I’ve got to get a feel for the game plan and plus we do a lot of third down on Thursday, so I felt good about that.”
Johnson also dealt with a hamstring problem in the preseason that forced him to miss the Minnesota preseason game.
