Bills RB C.J. Spiller exited the game briefly before returning in helping Buffalo gut out a big win over Baltimore in Week 4. Spiller believes he’ll be able to recover from his ankle ailment in time to be ready for Thursday night’s game in Cleveland.
“It’s just soreness in the ankle,” said Spiller. “I’ll see how I feel in the morning and do as much training as I can and get ready for Thursday even though it’s a short week. It’s going to be tough but I’m going to do everything on my end to be in a position to be ready to play.”
Head coach Doug Marrone also said Spiller’s ankle injury is not major and believes he’ll be good to go for Thursday night’s game in Cleveland.
