The honors keep rolling in for Kiko Alonso following his two-interception performance Sunday against Baltimore. In all fairness Aaron Williams had a pair of picks as well, but with Alonso’s second coming with under a minute to play to seal the win, the rookie linebacker continues to get national attention.
Here’s what Peter King wrote in his Monday Morning QB Column.
Kiko Alonso, MLB, Buffalo. The second-round rookie is proving his worth as a rangy sideline-to-sideline playmaker in his first month on the job. He picked off two Joe Flacco passes and knocked two more away from their targets Sunday as the Bills stunned Baltimore.
Aaron Williams did get a mention in MMQB later in King’s 10 Things I Think I Think section. King listed Williams’ acrobatic INT in the end zone Sunday as a ‘thing’ he liked.
