Bills RB Fred Jackson was limited in practice Tuesday, but was moving well coming off a sprained MCL Sunday. In an appearance on NFL Network Tuesday evening, Jackson assured he’ll be playing on Thursday night against Cleveland.
“Oh yeah, I’m definitely playing. I’m going to do everything I can to get back out there.”
Jackson did admit that the knee is sore, but he said he’s just going to deal with it.
The Bills veteran back was also asked why he thinks this season will be different from the unsuccessful ones of the past.
“Guys are playing well and I think we have enough depth that when guys get hurt we’re going to have guys that can step in and play well too,” he said. “We have a lot of injuries right now and everybody that’s in there is doing a tremendous job. That’s something we haven’t had a lot of in the past. We haven’t had a lot of depth. As long as we have that and guys continue to play and the coaching staff gets us in the right situations to make plays I think we’ll be ok.”
