Fred Jackson has seen his share of leads disappear on the scoreboard come the second half of games. He’s also seen more than his share of adversity as a player for the Bills. That’s why he wants a better response from his teammates when adversity inevitably strikes.
On Thursday night in Cleveland the Bills lost EJ Manuel and Stevie Johnson to injury and never really recovered. But Jackson, who played with a sprained MCL Thursday night, feels the injuries aren’t something upon which to dwell.
“That’s this game,” said Jackson. “There are ups and downs in this game and we have to be able to deal with them. We’re playing at an opposing stadium where they’re going to feed off their crowd and score some points and we have to be able to counter that and we didn’t do that and it ended up costing us the game.”
