The NFL announced Tuesday that three teams – the Falcons, Raiders, and Jaguars – will host games in London next season as a part of the League’s International series.
Here’s what it means for the Bills:
-Buffalo is scheduled to face the Raiders on the road, so Buffalo-Oakland could be a candidate for London.
-additionally, the Bills will travel to an AFC South opponent in 2014, to be determined by this year’s standings. So IF the Bills and Jaguars finish in the same place in their respective divisions, Buffalo and Jacksonville might be playing across the pond.
In short, the Bills have a two-way draw to play in London. We’ll have to wait and see what the final verdict is when the League announces the 2014 schedule in April.
And also worth noting: the Bills play the Lions in Detroit next season. Could a Thanksgiving Day game be in Buffalo’s future?
