C.J. Spiller gutted it out last Thursday night in what wound up being a part time role against the Browns. With the extra days of rest over the weekend and plenty of treatment Spiller, though still limited in practice, is doing more on his ailing ankle.
That according to head coach Doug Marrone following Thursday’s practice.
“Much better than last week,” said Marrone of Spiller’s ability to elude would be tacklers. “He’s moving on it and cutting on it. Those are the things he wasn’t able to do last week on it. He’s progressed quite well. We’re excited.”
Spiller was still listed as limited on Thursday.
