It looked to be heading this way already, but with the release of G Colin Brown, veteran Doug Legursky is the starting left guard for the Bills moving forward.
Legursky suffered a sprained MCL in the preseason finale against Detroit and was not fit to dress for a game until just last week. He got 57 snaps on offense and fared well. According to ProFootballFocus he only surrendered a pair of quarterback hurries.
Brown’s struggles were made more apparent by PFF’s statistics of his play. In 187 pass plays this season Brown surrendered three sacks, six quarterback hits and 17 quarterback hurries.
