Stevie Johnson was limited in practice Wednesday as he returned from his lower back injury, but appeared to be moving well. Johnson said he’s still not quite 100 percent healthy.
“I’ve probably got a little bit more work, I’d probably say 80-percent, 85-percent,” said Johnson. “That’s good enough right now, and we’ll have treatments the rest of the week, so I’m good. I feel good about this Sunday.”
Johnson, who did not practice at all with Thad Lewis last week, believes the practices this week will be enough time and provide enough reps for them to be in sync come Sunday in Miami.
“It’s my first time working with him in the reps and it was good so far,” he said. “Everything was pretty much in stride. We know it’s another level when you get on Sundays but this is where it starts.”
