Fred Jackson gutted out another week after tweaking his knee twice in Sunday’s win over the Dolphins. Both times when he re-aggravated his sprained MCL occurred in the first half. One on his first reception and the other on his last reception of the half. On Monday Jackson admitted that those hits on his knee set him back a bit.
“After the injury yesterday it was kind of a little setback going to when back I initially did it,” said Jackson. “It was getting better then to be rolled up like that yesterday it kind of set it back a little bit. The training staff will do a tremendous job to get me ready by the end of the week.”
Jackson fully intends to play on Sunday and said he’ll continue to wear a knee brace hoping it prevents further tweaks to the ailing knee.
