DAILY REPORT

QUOTE OF THE DAY
RUSS BRANDON, Buffalo Bills President and CEO on WGR 550
Q: The other guy I want to ask you about is obviously Mario Williams; he had a monster game on Sunday. When you guys were going through the process of discussing whether or not to make a play for him, did you envision a game like Sunday or a game like against Carolina?
A: I don’t think we’re having a conversation about a nice win on the road if it isn’t for Mario Williams. Obviously we play the ultimate team game, but he came through in a big spot and he’s continued to do that this year. I don’t think we’re having the conversation post-Carolina about a win if it isn’t for Mario. Those guys, Anthony Weaver has done a great job in coaching those guys up front. There’s so much teamwork that goes in to that rotation and Mario would be the first one to tell you that it takes everybody. Obviously he’s a physical specimen that can change the course of a game and he did it again this week.
