He wasn’t on the practice field Wednesday, but Stevie Johnson says his hip flexor injury sustained in last Sunday’s game is improving to the point where he’ll be good to go this weekend against the Chiefs.
“Getting better every day. Day-to-day getting better so I’ll be ready for Sunday,” said Johnson. “I already missed one game, can’t miss another one. I hopefully don’t miss another one in the future. Getting work right now with (our trainers), he’s getting me right, I’ll be out there to see how it is (Thursday), and I’m pretty sure I’ll be out there on Sunday.”
Head coach Doug Marrone said the plan now is for Johnson to practice on Thursday on a limited basis.
