Bills RB C.J. Spiller is averaging a very respectable 4.6 yards per carry this season. He insists he’s not frustrated about how he’s being used in the offense and he denied that he is falling into old habits of bouncing too many runs outside.
“Not at all,” he said. “I’m going to go where the ball is supposed to take me. If it has to go outside then that’s where I’m going to bounce it, but I don’t think there are tendencies. But if you really sit down and look at the film, you’ll see that
sometimes you have to bounce because they over flow and the Steelers game they were sucking up so quickly that the outside was there, which was why I did it. I don’t think I reverted back to any of my old habits.”
Spiller is anxious to get back on track against a Jets team that got the better of him and the Bills in the first meeting back in Week 3.
