Bills QB EJ Manuel has now made two starts since returning from a knee injury that kept him sidelined for four games. Heading into the bye this weekend his knee is doing alright.
“It feels fine,” he said. “A little sore after the game like any other person or any other back, or any other injury. But it feels fine.”
Some might think that having missed four games that Manuel’s legs aren’t quite as weary as those of his teammates who have played all 11 games so far this season. Not the case according to Manuel.
“I think it’s about the same,” he said. “When you have the injuries I had, you put a lot of strain and a lot of work into getting back healthy. You want to build it up and I’m going to continue to do that even when I’m home for this time off. Nothing’s going to change, we won’t be in the building for a few days. I think everybody understands you have to go home and do something and make sure you’re ready when you come back.”
