Bills captain Kyle Williams was still stewing in Buffalo’s locker room just minutes after their gut wrenching loss to Atlanta in overtime. He knows there have been enough of those kinds of losses over the years where it becomes an easy joke for those on the outside. Williams wanted everyone to know for the players there’s nothing funny about it.
“It’s easy to be in the catbird seat and look down on it and say ‘Same old (expletive),’ or whatever it may be, but I feel bad for the guys because of all the work that goes into it,” Williams said. “What guys play through and all the hours they put in. And a lot of times games like this become a punch line like it’s funny and it’s not to us. It’s not. It’s frustrating, but I believe with everything in me that I’m going to do the right things and I’m going to play as hard as I can and on the back end of this for me it’s going to that much better.”
