Doug Marrone had an awful lot of ground to cover when it came to Buffalo’s deficiencies and problems in Sunday’s loss to Tampa Bay. Among them the play of his rookie quarterback, who he believes needs a game plan with less, not more over the final three games.
“We’ve been giving him more and more and now it’s a point where you have to re-evaluate that,” said Marrone. “We’ve been going fast with his progression and now we just have to look at it and get him started again. And it’s not starting over, don’t get me wrong. We have to look to see what we can do and probably cut down what we’re doing.”
