DAILY REPORT
– The Buffalo Bills were defeated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27-6 on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium. The Bills are now 4-9 on the season. On the offensive side of the ball, two Bills reached milestones on the day. With his five catches for 67 yards, WR Stevie Johnson now has 3,828 career receiving yards and passed Peerless Price (3,772) for ninth place on the Bills all-time receiving yards list. Johnson also became the third Bills WR with four consecutive 50-reception seasons (Andre Reed 86-94 & 96-99; Eric Moulds 98-05). With his two catches for 24 yards, TE Scott Chandler became the first Bills TE with consecutive 500-yard receiving seasons. So far this season Chandler has 515 yards. The Bills tallied two more interceptions on the season on the defensive side of the ball and they held Tampa Bay rookie QB Mike Glennon to just 90 yards passing on the day. S Jairus Byrd hauled in his fourth interception on the season, which ties him for the team lead. It was Byrd’s 22nd career interception and he now ranks tied for 10th on the team’s all-time interception list (George Saimes). CB Stephon Gilmore also pulled in an interception, his first one on the season. Leading the way for the Buccaneers on offense was RB Bobby Rainey who rushed 22 times for 127 yards and an 80-yard touchdown. On the defensive side of the ball, Bucs LB Lavonte David led the way with nine tackles, one sack and two interceptions. Bills K Dan Carpenter converted on both of his field goal attempts and is now 25-of-27 on the year.

QUOTE OF THE DAY
DOUG MARRONE, Buffalo Bills Head Coach
On if the team is resilient…
“Again, I’ll look at myself first, but yes. And I think that’s exactly what I said during the week. We played Kansas City and it was very difficult. It was a difficult loss. I think you earn the right to be upset about it. The following week we didn’t bounce back like I thought we should, nor did they bounce back like they thought they should. That’s why I don’t think – it’s not necessarily the coach saying that, we feel like that as a team, collectively. And I feel the same way today. Does that bother me that one phase of what you need to do to become a winning football team that we didn’t take that challenge and overcome that? Absolutely. Absolutely that bothers me.”

ERIC WOOD, Buffalo Bills Center
On how to deal with the loss…
“We have to bounce back. We have to start winning ball games and, obviously, put in a better performance than we did today. I said it last week, we have a lot of guys that are going to be back next year and we have to learn to win with this group. We have the talent. We just have to learn each week to come out and prepare, and come out to win the ball game. That’s all that matters. That will be stressed moving forward.”
