DAILY REPORT
– NAPA Auto Parts partnered with the Buffalo Bills offensive line last night to take 30 high school boys from the Buffalo area on a holiday shopping spree to purchase gifts for themselves and their families during the holiday season. The O-line also worked with the United Way of Buffalo and Erie County to help select guests to attend last night’s event. Each guest received a Target gift card that they could spend however they choose, and roamed the store with a Bills offensive lineman who helped them make their selections. Before heading to Target, the guests enjoyed a meal with the offensive line at Ralph Wilson Stadium catered by Ilio DiPaolo’s before riding limo buses donated by Zoladz Limousine Service to Target.

PHOTO OF THE DAY
moats
Last week Bills LB Arthur Moats was selected as the team’s 2013 Walter Payton Man of the Year and the Ed Block Courage Award winner. Moats has established himself as a mainstay on the field as well as in the philanthropic circles of the Buffalo community. Since entering the league, he’s maintained a strong relationship with the United Way of Buffalo and Erie County, and this past offseason was named the Bills United Way Worldwide spokesman. Through this role, he’s participated in numerous programs that encourage donations, whether through money or time, to the local community.

QUOTE OF THE DAY
DOUG MARRONE, Buffalo Bills Head Coach
Q: What do you need to see out of this team over these next two
games?
A: It’s critical. We’ve got to keep finding ways to win and keep fighting through. That’s what we’re doing. It’s not, I think a lot of times people will think you’re going to play this guy to get an evaluation, you’re going to play this guy to get an evaluation. It’s the same with Kraig; Kraig Urbik went in there and played well, so we didn’t have to put J.J. (‘Unga) in there even though he’s been practicing well. We’ll look to do whatever we have to do to win because it’s critical for us to win. I think when you win you learn a lot from that.
