Bills RB Fred Jackson, who appeared on Bills flagship station WGR Sportsradio 550 Monday, provided an update on his offseason regimen. Jackson intends to get back to work soon after a two weeks layoff.
Appearing on the Howard Simon show, Jackson explained that he’ll be starting his offseason work in the pool and on the bike.
“Right now it’s total down time. They tell us to take 10-14 days off,” said Jackson. “Don’t do anything that has anything to do with football outside of sitting on the couch and watching some games. That time is just about up then I’ll go back to working out and try to do some swimming and biking that’s not pounding on the body. It’s about time for that to start. I’ll do some checkups with the training staff on little injuries from during the season. That’s what guys are doing now. Once you get cleared to start doing stuff you get right back into it.”
