He was a late add to the Senior Bowl roster, but Lockport native David Fluellen is here in Mobile.
The Toledo running back will take a crack at impressing the NFL scouts and coaches who’ve assembled at the Senior Bowl.
Fluellen was an All Western New York performer at Lockport High School before going on to star at the University of Toledo.
The 6-0, 215 pound running back averaged 5.95 yards per carry at Toledo, second all time in school history. He suffered an Achilles injury late in the season that limited his play in three games and part of a fourth.
Fluellen has been a first team All-Mid American Conference performer the last two years. It’ll be interesting to see who he stacks up against top flight competition at the Senior Bowl.
