While Bills head coach Doug Marrone is planning to hire a quarterbacks coach to lighten the load on offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, he also has a wide receivers coach role to fill. Marrone told Buffalobills.com Monday that process is already well underway.
“We started that process back in Buffalo where we brought people in and talk to them,” Marrone told Buffalobills.com’s John Murphy.
Now in Mobile at the site of the Senior Bowl, which also doubles as a coaches’ convention for those coaches still looking for work, Marrone intends to interview more candidates this week in Alabama.
“Coming to Mobile you have an opportunity because most of the coaches are all down here,” he said. “We have the ability to talk to two people a day and we’re looking at that as well as looking for other coaches on offense too.”
