NFL agents who chose to keep their top prospects out of this year’s Senior Bowl have a case to prove their point after Oklahoma CB Aaron Colvin went down with an injury Tuesday in practice. Unfortunately Colvin got bad news after he was examined.
Colvin knee injury was confirmed as a torn ACL. Initially projected as a sixth or seventh round prospect, the injury will likely push him off most draft boards. He’ll presumably be a undrafted signing of an NFL club, but one has to admire his strong mental approach knowing the rehab road that lies in front of him.
On his Twitter account Colvin listed the following message, which may resonate with NFL scouts and personnel executives.
