Bills new WRs coach Rob Moore does not possess the coaching experience that head coach Doug Marrone has under his belt, but some of his football roots are similar.
Moore, like Marrone is from downstate. A Long Island native from Hempstead, Moore, like Marrone, played his college ball at Syracuse.
One of the Orange’s most prolific receivers of all time, Moore was a first-round supplemental draft choice of the Jets in 1990 and enjoyed a 12-year playing career with New York and Arizona. A two-time Pro Bowl selection, Moore got into coaching soon after his career concluded.
He even worked on Marrone’s staff for three seasons at their alma mater, and he now rejoins him on Buffalo’s staff.
