It was one of the teams he visited as a free agent, and reports now indicate that free agent DL Alex Carrington has signed with the St. Louis Rams.
That according to ESPN and other news outlets. Carrington, a former third-round pick of the Bills is coming off a torn quadriceps tendon injury, but has reportedly signed with St. Louis.
It’s reportedly a one-year deal, which comes as little surprise knowing that coming off the injury most NFL clubs usually don’t want to commit to more than a year, so Carrington will be working in a ‘prove it’ type year to earn a long term deal in the future.
Carrington appeared in just three games last season before the quadriceps tendon tear suffered in Week 3 against the Jets landed him on I-R for the remainder of the 2013 season.
