He visited a handful of teams after he fell out of favor with the Tennessee Titans and it was clear he was not going to return to the team that made him a first-round pick. The Bills were one of the teams Britt visited, but in the end Britt went with who he knew signing with St. Louis.
Britt signed a one-year deal with the Rams and the move makes sense. St. Louis not only needs a big wideout outside to stretch the field, there’s also some familiarity there for Britt in the form of Jeff Fisher, who was head coach of the Titans when the club made Britt a first-round pick in 2009.
Now head coach of Rams, Fisher knows how to handle quirky personalities like Britt, who has had his share of run-ins with the law.
