With the Bills personnel department scouring the country for talent before the NFL Draft, Buffalo has turned its attention to a local college basketball player, according to a report from WKBW.
Chris Manhertz, a 6-foot-6, 235-pound forward from nearby Canisius College has a workout scheduled with the Bills. Manhertz, who has not played a down of organized football, was a three-year captain for the Griffs who finished his career ranked fourth in school history with 789 rebounds. A native of the Bronx, Manhertz likely projects as a tight end in the NFL. His complete bio from Canisius is available here.
