The HBO series Hard Knocks, which features a behind the scenes look at a team’s preparations for the regular season at training camp and includes scenes like players getting cut and coaches talking about players to one another among other things, is having a hard time finding a team willing to allow the cameras into their training camp domain. If there are no volunteers the pre-set list of criteria could make the Bills the final choice.
The Bills are one of eight teams that could be chosen by the network based on the following criteria that make an NFL club a possibility.
1 – They do not have a new head coach
2 – They haven’t made the playoffs in the last two years
3 – They haven’t participated in the series in the previous 10 seasons
Here’s the list of teams that could still be picked by HBO, whether they like it or not.
New York Giants
St. Louis Rams
Rams head coach Jeff Fisher just came out this week and said he deemed the chances of the Rams being picked as “highly unlikely.” St. Louis is going to have enough national media attention with Michael Sam on their training camp roster. If Fisher, who is a member of the league’s Competition Committee, knows something we don’t it could mean the list is down to seven NFL clubs.
