Kiko Alonso participated in the individual position drill portions of practice, but not any team work. That is likely to be the plan for the rest of the OTAs after he underwent offseason hip surgery.
“Yeah, it’s great. I feel great. I had a great rehab and I’m just trying to get stronger,” he said.
Alonso was one of several players who had offseason surgery. Fellow draft classmate Robert Woods had ankle surgery. Head coach Doug Marrone addressed both.
“They’re coming off procedures both of them,” Marrone said. “Kiko had a hip and Robert had an ankle. Those guys have been here the whole time working and we’re just being progressive, making sure they’re working their way back. We know they’ll be available and healthy for the season.”
