Jim Kelly took another positive step in his battle against cancer on Monday, as the Hall of Fame QB was released from Erie County Medical Center and allowed to return home.
Kelly completed chemo and radiation treatments late last month, and will now wait two to three months to determine if further treatment may be needed.
“He’s excited about getting home,” Kelly’s brother Dan told The Buffalo News. “We’re really excited for him and he’s glad to get going on the road to recovery.”
