World-class athletes aren’t necessarily rare in the NFL, in fact you could make the argument that they are the rule rather than the exception.
But Bills WR Marquise Goodwin brought a whole new level of high-caliber athletics to Buffalo when he was drafted in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
With concurrently successful backgrounds in both football and track at Texas, Goodwin faced a decision that only a handful of athletes will ever have to make – to pursue the Olympics or play professional football.
So while we know Goodwin eventually chose football, how he arrived at that decision, and what might change in 2016, are well worth reading.
