Jets QB Geno Smith was apparently the victim of a sucker punch in his own locker room and the injuries he sustained could keep him out of the lineup for 10 weeks.
That according to ESPN New York Jets reporter Rich Cimini.

If the timetable for Smith being sidelined is accurate, former Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick is the likely starter for New York in Week 1. The Jets host the Browns in Week 1.
