If you ask Kyle Williams, Bills fans at home games are always pretty loud, which is why he’s confident that they’ll be raring to go today come 1 pm.
Williams believes their volume can absolutely impact an opponent’s offensive execution, so he’s hoping they’re as jacked for the game as the players.
“You look at the home opener last year, the kind of confusion they can create for an offense. They can limit what he can do at the line, they can limit their snap counts,” said Williams. “They can cause penalties on them, they can cause missed assignments because they didn’t hear the communication—there’s a lot of things our fans have always done. It’s not like we’re asking them to do something they’ve never done. I just think it’s important for them to know how big a part they can play in the game because we have the greatest fans in the league. And for us to play against the caliber of offensive team that we’re playing, its going to be a critical part of the game.”
