The Bills had to make room on their 53-man roster Tuesday with Marcell Dareus being activated off the reserve suspended list. Buffalo decided to release one of their running backs.
Buffalo released RB Bryce Brown. Brown was initially acquired by the Bills in a trade with Philadelphia in the 2014 offseason.
With the other two running backs behind LeSean McCoy also offering more special teams ability than Brown, he was likely seen as the most expendable.
