Bills QB Tyrod Taylor was moving from station to station with a group of Play 60 kids at the Tottenham Hotspur Football Club training facility during an NFL Play 60 event Tuesday with Tottenham and Buffalo players participating. Taylor said it’s his plan to practice Wednesday.
“My mindset right now is to get out there (Wednesday) and practice,” said Taylor. “I’m looking forward to it.”
Taylor said he prepared for last week’s game like he always did, but in the end it didn’t happen.
“I prepared as if I was going to play and just let the coaches make the decision, and of course the trainers as well,” Taylor said. “It’s some of my say-so as well since it’s my body, but the best decision after talking to the trainers was to not go out there (last Sunday).”
As for how his injured knee is faring now more than a week removed from being hurt, Taylor is encouraged by the knee’s improvement.
“It’s progressed each and every day,” said Taylor. “My body is feeling good and I’m just looking forward to get back out there and practicing. I want to do whatever I can do to help the team to win the football game. If I’m healthy to go out there and do that then I’m going to try my best out there on the field. The main thing is that I’m healthy and I feel good.”
