Bills head coach Rex Ryan pulls no punches when asked to assess the performance of his team after six games. “We’re .500,” he said flatly. He realizes that the team has not put it all together yet, but remains confident they will.
When a team has some struggles they can lose their mojo a bit, and Ryan was asked if his team has lost its attitude a bit.
“When things are going well, then that attitude is there and you’re playing great,” Ryan said. “A lot of things happen when you’re playing with a lead. A lot of good things—sacks, turnovers, things like that. We’ve had some struggles. And it’s not just defensively, it’s been on both sides of the ball. On special teams, we’ve had our issues, too. We’re not a complete team right now. We’re working to be.”
