Buffalo will be without all three receivers capable of blowing the top off a defense with Marquise Goodwin on I-R and Percy Harvin and Sammy Watkins not available for Sunday’s game against Jacksonville in London. But for the receivers that will be playing they are confident offensive coordinator Greg Roman will have ways for them to make plays in the passing game Sunday.
“That’s all G-Ro,” said Robert Woods in reference to his offensive coordinator. “He knows his players. He has certain plays for certain players and certain style of plays to get guys the ball and it’ll probably be a little different with me and Hogan and a different type of speed with those guys. But he knows how to get those players the ball.”
Roman admits that without receiver talent like Harvin, Goodwin and Watkins he’s going to need to make dramatic changes to their offensive approach.
“Huge, huge, huge adjustments have been made,” Roman said. “That’s to be expected, that’s part of life in the NFL. Adapt or die. We’re adapting. We want to live and prosper. We’ll make whatever adjustments are necessary.”
