The Jets have a handful of injured players, whose status is up in the air for Thursday night’s game. One player who will assuredly be out for the game this week with Buffalo is New York K Nick Folk.
Folk suffered a strained quad in his kicking leg last Sunday against the Jaguars forcing punter Ryan Quigley to attempt field goals the rest of the game. Jets head coach Todd Bowles said Monday that Folk is expected to be out for a month or more.
Bowles: “I don’t think Folk will be playing” Thursday. Injury estimated to hold him out anywhere from 4-6 weeks.
