Buffalo’s pass rush was missing something on Sunday, namely Mario Williams. The Bills defensive end was out with a foot injury suffered in the Monday night game at New England. Head coach Rex Ryan is hopeful he’ll be able to play Sunday against Houston even if it’s just part time work.
“I’m not real sure yet,” said Ryan about Williams status for Sunday. “Hopefully Mario can play in some capacity. I’m not sure. We certainly need him.”
Buffalo lost DE Alex Carrington to a quadriceps injury and is already without Kyle Williams due to a knee injury.
