It’s just too early in the week for Bills head coach Rex Ryan to make an assessment on Karlos Williams for Sunday’s game against Houston after he sustained a shoulder injury in Kansas City. Williams left the game in the first half and did not return. Ryan right now is playing wait and see with the rookie back.
“Karlos’ shoulder we’ll see how it progresses through the week,” said Ryan. “Obviously it’s not near the severity of Alex’s injury, but hopefully we’ll see where he’s at later in the week. Hopefully he can play, we’re not 100 percent sure.”
Buffalo’s running back contingent is a bit thinner after the team waived Boom Herron last week. Healthy and fit to play right now are LeSean McCoy, Boobie Dixon and Jerome Felton. RB Mike Gillislee is on the practice squad.
