Bills TE Charles Clay left Sunday’s game in the first quarter with a back injury and did not return. Head coach Rex Ryan tried to provide an update, but didn’t have much in the way of new information.
“As far as Charles Clay, they’re looking at him,” Ryan said. “As I always tell you, it’s never a good thing when you don’t finish a game. I don’t know if we’d had one game not finish a game and then play the next week. I’m not saying it can’t happen, sometimes that’s not a good sign.”
Clay is the team’s leading receiver with 51 catches on the year.
