With an NFL career being so demanding, Robert Woods has been chipping away at completing his college degree. Heading into this offseason, Woods needs just a handful of credits and to complete an internship and he’ll be done.
Woods, who in the offseason attends classes at USC where he played his college ball, is on schedule to graduate this offseason.
“I’ve been going to school every offseason. This is my final semester. I’ll be back for training in April,” said Woods. “Maybe [I’ll practice with the guys] if they are able to make it out there, but [school] is my main focus,” he said.
The third-year receiver will be getting a degree in Policy planning and development.
“I’m interested in development and real estate, whether it’s commercial development, property development, city planning,” he said.
Woods said he plans to intern at a real estate firm to get a feel for what the business is like. He also stands a good chance of being the jock of the class.
“Probably so,” he said. “There are no other NFL players in the class. It’s fun going back and being back on campus.”
